Note: In view of the current incidence of infections, the risk assessments do not show any need to impose a mask requirement for the area of employees in the hygiene concepts under occupational health and safety law.

Rooms can be fully occupied again, especially for lectures and laboratories, because there is no longer an obligation to maintain a minimum distance. The gymnasium should be usable for sports again after the necessary rescheduling of lectures.

• There is no obligation to wear a mask for participants of courses and inside the buildings, but it is explicitly and strongly recommended to wear a mask (medical mask or FFP2 mask).
• The mask obligation continues to apply due to the CoronaArbeitsschutzVO for the area of the employees, as far as hygiene concepts provide for this due to a risk assessment. The hygiene concepts will be adapted if necessary.
• The mask requirement also applies to committee meetings and work meetings for which a hygiene concept provides accordingly. For meetings with up to 6 persons, masks do not have to be worn if a distance of 1.5 m is maintained.
• The mask obligation also applies to events and trade fairs due to the Corona-LVO.

• The decision of the permanent crisis team of 1.4.2022 will be repealed due to the renewed amendment of the HochschulCoronaVO, the obligation to provide proof of 3G and the controls will no longer apply to events of the study programme and also to all other events. Compliance with 3G by participants can be recommended by the event organisation for events with larger numbers of participants. The test centre will be closed.

• Urgent notice:
  The obligation to keep a distance and, irrespective of the distance, the obligation to wear a mask remains in force in the inner areas of the university for the protection of all participants in the events and other university members in general. Compliance with the obligation to wear a mask must be pointed out by the event management, the lecturer or other persons in charge of house rights. Repeated violations of the obligation to wear a mask will result in exclusion from the respective event or expulsion from the respective building.

Due to changes in federal and state regulations, effective April 4, 2022, the list of measures will be rescinded and replaced with the following measures.

The permanent crisis team decided today on the following measures based on the HochschulCoronaVO of 31.03.2022 published yesterday, in which the 3G obligation for participants in study operations was extended until 28.04.2022:

1. The previous regulations for 3G evidence for attendance courses of the study operation will be extended based on the previous regulations in level 3 (orange) of the catalog of measures, but with only random checks of the evidence by the teachers:
   • Day-by-day test
   • Quick test (citizen test), accompanied self-test in the test center on campus or home self-test with sworn statement
     Access only with digital certificate, paper QR code, test certificate accompanied self-test or 2G/3G* note on HOSTCard or affidavit
   • Random verification of evidence by instructors
   • Random verification by AGU
     
     *The registration of the 2G status for students in Department II is only possible after booking an appointment via the service portal eHost.
2. The 3G regulation also applies to other university events, the use of the university library and presentations at appeal committees.
3. The test center will continue to operate provisionally until 28.04.2022.
4. The offer of two self-tests per week with issuance via the designated offices will be maintained.

• As a general rule, courses will again be held in attendance beginning April 4, 2022.
• To maintain spacing, the occupancy standard will be the checkerboard pattern according to the maximum occupancy designated for each room.
• Masks are mandatory within all buildings across campus, even with spacing > 1.5m.

  • Excluded: Individual offices or individual workstations, or where alternative protective measures are in place (e.g., spit shields, minimum floor space, etc.)

  • Excluded: Lecturers during speech

• 3G no longer has to be proven for courses and other events of the study operation. Checking 3G status is no longer required.
• The crisis team recommends and asks all participants to be tested regularly at home or at a testing center using antigen tests to reduce the spread of infections.  For this purpose, the University will provide two tests per week as a voluntary benefit to each person, subject to availability. The tests are distributed to students by the student councils, and to employees of the faculties in the dean's offices. The student councils are responsible for organizing the distribution of the antigen tests provided by the university in the faculties on dates determined by themselves.
• The crisis team also recommends the possibility of contact tracking - electronically with the HOST Card at the registration terminal or on the cell phone provided with the AppBe@HOST. There is no forwarding to the health department but only an indication of the participants in case of occurring infections to possible contacts (contact tracking). The crisis team asks the participants to continue to use the Corona reporting hotline to enable information to contact persons.

• Faculties can designate learning rooms, otherwise free rooms in the faculties can be used. With regard to distance and masking requirements and voluntary contact tracking, the regulations for teaching apply accordingly.

• University events outside the course of study are permitted, provided that a hygiene plan verified by AGU is available. Furthermore, the respective regulations applicable to events in accordance with the Corona State Ordinance must be complied with (currently mask obligation indoors & 3G status).
• External organizers must confirm with the usage agreement that they have a hygiene concept in accordance with the requirements of the Corona-LVO M-V and ensure that they comply with all applicable legal requirements, in particular the Corona-LVO M-V. In the event of non-compliance, the university reserves the right to revoke the usage agreement without notice.

• Committee / board meetings can be held in person, subject to spacing and masking requirements, but it is recommended that they be held digitally.

• Meetings can be held in person in compliance with the distance and masking requirements, but it is recommended that they be held digitally.

• Appointment committees and presentations can be conducted in presence or digitally, subject to spacing and masking requirements.

• Appointment committees and lectures may be conducted in presence or digitally, subject to spacing and masking requirements.

• Buildings are generally open and locked during normal closing hours.

• Business travel may be requested and approved without special requirements.

• Field trips are possible with review of urgency by supervisor.

• The operation of the testing center will be discontinued for the time being, as certified testing is no longer required. Instead, antigen tests will be issued for self-administration.

• Non-faculty employees will be provided antigen tests for self-administration via the mailroom as needed (by the week, max 2 per week).

Since the corresponding regulation in Section 28b of the Infection Protection Act has been dropped, employees will no longer have to carry proof that they have been vaccinated, recovered or tested (3G proof) as of April 1, 2022, and no access restrictions will apply in this respect.

Taking into account the current infection incidence in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen and the current Corona Report of Stralsund University of Applied Sciences of 15.03.2022, which shows the highest infection and quarantine level of employees* since the beginning of the pandemic, the implementation for access restrictions and verification of 3G at the workplace, as well as the home office obligation, is temporarily extended until 31.03.2022 to maintain the critical infrastructure of Stralsund University of Applied Sciences.

Note: The established HomeOffice regulations will continue to apply beyond this in accordance with the information provided to all employees on 17.03.2022 until 15.05.2022.

For the beginning lecture period applies regardless of the traffic light level:
The lecture period begins digitally on 14 March. As of April 04, lectures will be scheduled in presence.
In the case of presence, the regulations for the 3G model, mask obligation and room occupancy apply according to the respective traffic light level.

The Permanent Crisis Staff allows Senate or Extended Senate election meetings to be held in attendance regardless of the Corona traffic light level.

The catalogue of measures was amended as follows with regard to the opening of the buildings:

Level 4 

• Standard: locked, access only with transponder
• Exception: open outside lecture hours

The catalogue of measures was amended as follows with regard to university sport:

• Level 1-4  - The regulations for club-based competition according to the Corona State Ordinance apply.
• The recommendations of the DOSB are to be implemented.

The permanent crisis team has decided to adjust the university traffic light for the catalog of measures to the state traffic light again in order to counteract delays to state ordinances. The exception remains teaching operations; these will continue to be adjusted (for better planning for teachers and students) with a delay of at least three days only on the following Monday of the national traffic light.

After the testing period, starting 07/02/2022, the opening hours of the Testing Center on the HOST campus will be extended to 7:00am - 9:00am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. The opening hours in the afternoon will be cancelled.

Due to the high incidence of infection, self-tests will once again be given out in the mailroom during business hours for university employees as needed.

Due to better plannability for teachers and students, a change of level will be announced in the future with the following advance notice:
An advance announcement will be made on the university website as of the validity of the measures of the new level for the district of Vorpommern-Rügen/the state of MV. However, the new stage is only valid for the university traffic light after three days on the following Monday. 

In order to enable students to learn together and socialize in Stage 4 - Red as well, the permanent crisis team has decided that one room per faculty should be made available, which must be reserved via the eHOST portal. The 2G+ regulation applies to the use of the rooms as well as contact tracking via the HOST card. A maximum of 10 people per room (taking into account the max. room capacity) is allowed. IMPORTANT: This regulation only applies to level 4 - red, see also catalog of measures. 

The semester planning is done in presence, i.e. the semester start is prepared in presence. A conversion to digital teaching only takes place in the case of level 4 - red of the university traffic light.
The international degree programs SSDM and REEMM start with digital or hybrid teaching and do not switch to presence until April 19, 2022.

The college will be closed from 12/23/21 to 01/02/22. The buildings are locked. In case of mandatory presence of employees*, compliance with the 2G rule is required.
Stage 4 (red) of the university traffic light is extended up to and including 07.01.2022.

The on-campus testing center will continue in its current form through March 2022.

The learning rooms remain closed in stage 4 (red).
However, a hardship regulation applies: Students can be granted access to the learning rooms via transponders or the HOST card. In this case, the 2G rule applies, compliance with which is to be verified by the faculty management via appropriate proof (proof of vaccination or convalescence).

In order to simplify reading, the Corona traffic light of the County of Vorpommern-Rügen will be replaced on the HOST Corona website with immediate effect by the HOST internal traffic light, which depicts the relevant level taking into account the Corona traffic light of the County of Vorpommern-Rügen and the hospitalization rate of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The HOST traffic light shows the respective level of the catalog of measures at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, as well as the date from which the measures apply.

From Monday, 6.12.2021, until Wednesday, 22.12.2021, teaching will take place digitally. During this time, only courses that cannot be taught digitally (e.g. labs) can be held in person.

In accordance with Section 28b of the Infection Protection Act, the following regulations apply to employees as of today:

• Employees may not enter campus unless they carry proof of vaccinated, recovered or tested status (3G proof). Exceptions apply solely:
  • for taking advantage of on-campus testing opportunities that are designed to obtain post-test verification; and
  • for the perception of on-campus immunization offerings.
• Upon commencement of duty at HOST, either the direct subject supervisor (for professors, the dean) must be provided with:
  • Proof of immunization (one-time submission); or
  • Proof of recovery (one-time submission by end of proof) or.
  • The daily test result from the HOST testing center or by a certified health care provider in accordance with Section 6(1) of the Coronavirus Testing Ordinance.
    to be submitted. The control must be documented by the supervisor
• Two supervised self-tests per week are provided in the HOST test center (house 5, foyer) on Mondays and Wednesdays: 07:00 to 08:00h and 11:00 to 14:00 (employer's obligation).
• The employee is responsible for the other test proofs per week by a certified service provider according to § 6 paragraph 1 of the Coronavirus Test Ordinance (employee obligation). Accompanied self-testing at the HOST (outside the testing center) is not permitted in this regard. Reference is made to one free citizen test per week via the country test centers.
• In case of medical indication, individual solutions are to be coordinated with the HR department.

In accordance with § 28b of the Infection Protection Act, the following regulations apply to employees as of today:

• In the case of office work or comparable activities, HOST must offer employees the opportunity to carry out these activities in their homes if there are no compelling operational reasons to the contrary. Accordingly, teaching and manual work are largely exempt from the home office obligation.
• Employees must accept this offer if there are no reasons (e.g. family situation, technical equipment, suitable workplace) to the contrary.
• Implementation must be coordinated with the direct supervisor and documented. For employees who participate in time recording, home office must be noted. In this case, the documentation obligation for the line manager does not apply.
• In the case of medical indications, individual solutions must be agreed with the HR department.
• Where home office is not possible, A/B groups are to be formed if this is organizationally possible. Contact between the groups is to be avoided.

The Crisis Team has decided to establish a testing center on campus (House 5, Foyer) for free supervised self-testing (2x per week). The testing operation will start Thu, Nov 18, 2021 during 07:00-08:00hrs and 11:00-14:00hrs. The productive course starts in week 47 on Mondays and Wednesdays, 07:00-08:00h and 11:00-14:00h.

The crisis team has decided that the operational status will be replaced by the Corona traffic light level system.

Based on the University Corona Ordinance (HochschulCoronaVO M-V), the permanent crisis team has decided on the following risk-weighted  catalog of measures to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The basis for the risk-weighted classification is the Corona traffic light MV. This catalog of measures replaces the previous decisions of the crisis team. It will be published on the HOST Corona website. The measures apply from the time the respective traffic light level is displayed on the HOST Corona website.

The flow of information when Corona cases occur at the university has been adjusted: Due to the change in the approach of the health departments to contact tracking and the more local impact of Corona cases, accordingly, only local information is provided to faculty, cohort, dean, or ZE/Haus1 about the corresponding cases.

AGU - supported by other persons - is authorized and instructed by the crisis management team to carry out random checks to verify the existence of the random samples and the evidence and to accept affidavits.

Free home-based Corona self-tests are available to students only until Nov. 15, 2021. After that, students must arrange for testing on their own. However, an exception applies to international students who have been vaccinated with a vaccine not yet recognized in the EU. For them, the Corona tests are still available free of charge at the public testing centers until 31.12.2021.

As part of an amendment to the University Corona Ordinance, the following was enshrined for courses regarding the 2G and 3G rule:

The wearing of a mask may be waived for courses in which all participants comply with the 2G rule. However, this requires a check of all participants before each event. If the check identifies even one person who does not fulfill the 2G rule, the 3G rule applies, i.e. no one may be excluded from a course because he or she does not fulfill the 2G rule but does fulfill the 3G rule.

To make it easier to prove the status of vaccinated/convalescent, stickers are to be procured to be attached to the student ID card for the entire winter semester. These will be issued by Department II upon presentation of the proof of vaccination or convalescence and will be valid for the entire semester.

Please note: Students will be informed separately when the stickers will be issued (approx. end of October).

At the start of the event, appropriate proof must be presentable at all times:

• for vaccinated persons: the digital COVID certificate of the EU or the corresponding entry in the vaccination card (see notes under "Who is considered vaccinated"?).

The university will provide students with two weekly self-tests free of charge until 15 November 2021. These can be collected from the mailroom (House 1, open Monday - Friday 10.30 - 12.00 and 12.30 - 14.00). After that, you have to take care of the tests on your own.

The faculties can open the houses on their own responsibility beyond the currently applicable time limits for students who are entitled to admission. Students may only use the learning rooms designated by the faculty for learning groups. For learning rooms, the max. room occupancy according to Corona signage is permitted. For learning groups, the regulations for face-to-face study events apply with regard to spacing and masking requirements. The learning rooms are equipped with Lucca App QR codes and students are obliged to self-register. In the event of non-compliance, the faculty administrators retain the right to immediately lock the learning spaces and prohibit their use.

Study events are events in which only university members participate.

Note: The regulations of the Corona LVO apply to events outside of study operations, in particular the testing obligation (daily rapid test) for indoor events from classification in level 2 (yellow).

Various conditions apply to the status "vaccinated". These are defined, among other things, in the COVID-19 Protection Measures Exemption Ordinance (§ 2 number 3 SchAusnahmV).

Accordingly, the following asymptomatic persons are considered "vaccinated" in Germany:

Persons who have been vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine approved in the EU in the number of vaccine doses published by the Paul Ehrlich Institute that are required for a complete protective vaccination and in whom at least 14 days have passed after administration of the last vaccine dose.
A current list of COVID-19 vaccines licensed in the EU as well as information on the required number of vaccine doses and vaccine product names in third countries can be found on the PEI website: https://www.pei.de/impfstoffe/covid-19.

Persons who have undergone a PCR/SARS-CoV-2 antibody-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection and have subsequently been vaccinated once with a COVID-19 vaccine.

Under certain conditions, international students can be issued digital vaccination certificates in pharmacies for their vaccination previously received abroad with EU approval (see here). This makes it easier to check the vaccination certificate.

International students who have received one or more vaccinations abroad with vaccines that are not licensed in the EU are considered unvaccinated. However, they can make use of rapid tests in test centres (§ 4a No. 3 Coronavirus Test Ordinance). Furthermore, there is the possibility to use home self-tests provided by the university until 15.11.2021.
 

In urgent exceptional cases, business trips are also possible to high-risk areas; business duties must not be impaired afterwards (e.g. due to quarantine).

Lecture halls and seminar rooms

• Classroom events are held up to level 4 (red) of the risk-weighted classification (according to the classification of the LAGuS M-V). The crisis team continuously monitors the infection situation and reserves the option of switching to extended emergency operation and thus switching to digital teaching.

1. Up to and including Level 3 (Corona traffic light orange): for the performance of teaching and other classroom events of the study operation, the occupancy standard is the checkerboard pattern according to the maximum occupancy shown for each room* **
   *(corresponds to the resolution of August 18, 2021, except for the adjustment of the level).
   ** (Room occupancy using the example of lecture hall 1 in building 5)
2. Note: The stickers on the chairs and tables in the room do not apply to checkerboard occupancy.
3. At level 4 (Corona traffic light red): Changeover to face-to-face teaching with a minimum distance of 1.5m while maintaining the permissible maximum occupancy or - if the maximum occupancy with this distance is not sufficient - changeover to digital teaching.

Laboratories/special workrooms (not PC labs)

• In deviation from the regulations for other rooms, occupancy at all levels is subject to compliance with the minimum distance of 1.5m, insofar as this is practically possible. Otherwise, the minimum distance may be undercut in accordance with hygiene concepts specifically applicable to laboratories.

Effective date of higher education corona ordinance on 9/1/2021

• Note: In the case of face-to-face study events, all persons participating, including teachers and other persons participating, are obliged to comply with the 3G rule with modified testing requirements. In the event of checks by teachers or other persons, proof of vaccination or recovery or proof of testing (rapid test at the test center, PCR test or employer-certified testing) must be shown or an affidavit (home self-testing) must be submitted.

Situation of international students

• The deadline for enrollment is extended up to and including 11/10/2021 for international students due to their special situation.
• Instructors are strongly advised to provide course materials and offer separate office hours for international students who have been unable to attend face-to-face classes for courses held up to that date.

A 72h valid test (twice a week) with a negative test result is mandatory for the participation in attendance events of the study program of the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences. According to § 4 paragraph 1 HochschulCoronaVO M-V the presentation of a negative test for an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus is required. Persons (students, lecturers, other persons) who do not comply with the test obligation and also do not present any of the other approved proofs, cannot participate in the presence offers of the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences.

Appropriate proof must be presentable at all times with the start of the event:

• for vaccinated persons: the digital COVID certificate of the EU or the corresponding entry in the vaccination card.
• for recovered persons: the EU digital COVID certificate or, depending on the competent health department, the proof provided by the health department within 28 days and 6 months after the positive PCR/POC test.
• for tested persons: either proof of a negative domestic self-test by submission of an affidavit or proof of a negative test result according to § 1a para. 2-4 Corona-LVO M-V (e.g. rapid test in the test center, PCR test or test certified by employer)

For the purpose of proving negative domestic self-tests, persons participating in the event (students, lecturers and other persons) must carry along the completed affidavit and hand in the signed document upon verification. In view of the possibility of checks in several courses on the same day, students are advised to carry additional forms of the affidavit with them and to complete them as required.

Requests for proofs will be made on the basis of random checks. The respective instructor or event director or the person responsible for the organization of the event is responsible for carrying out the checks.

Students will be provided with two weekly self-tests by the university free of charge until November 15, 2021. These can be picked up in the mailroom (House 1). After that, students must take care of the tests on their own.

If persons are not able to present any of the approved proofs during a check or do not submit an affidavit regarding the negative domestic test, they are to be excluded from the specific event by the teacher or the event management or the person responsible for the organization of the event with reference to the domiciliary rights. Participation in attendance events is only possible again when the corresponding proof can be presented.

• Always applies to face-to-face study events, regardless of grading, if the 1.5m distance is not maintained (checkerboard pattern).
• At the fixed seat there is no mask obligation up to and including level 3 (Corona traffic light orange), if the room occupancy permits compliance with the distance of 1.5m (compliance with the maximum room occupancy specified for level 4 red)* *(corresponds to the resolution of August 18, 2021, except for the adjustment of the level).
• Masks are always mandatory for laboratories/special work rooms (not PC laboratories)
• For meetings: If a seat distance of 1.5m is maintained, the mask can be removed up to level 3. Random checks of the 3G evidence are carried out by the meeting chairperson.
• The mask requirement continues to apply in hallways, kitchenettes, etc.

• depending on occupational SARS-CoV-2 Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (currently valid until September 10)
• For unvaccinated and non-recovered persons, it is recommended to take advantage of the offer of home self-testing twice a week. For employees who participate in face-to-face events of the study company, testing is compulsory.
• In cases of special need, tests are also provided to vaccinated and recovered persons (by the week, max. 2 per week).

In the event of a known violation of the quarantine obligation, affected persons are to be excluded from the event (domiciliary right) and the public health department is to be informed (administrative offense).

Quarantine is no longer required in the case of symptoms typical of COVID-19. Employees should coordinate their presence with their supervisor in order to reduce contact. At least one rapid test is recommended prior to attendance, alternatively a PCR test. In the case of symptoms, participation in meetings and, in accordance with § 4 Para. 4 of the HochschulCoronaVO (University Corona Ordinance) for all persons (students and employees), participation in classroom events of the study operation is excluded, unless a negative nucleic acid test (PCR, PoC-PCR or other methods of nucleic acid amplification technology) is available, which must not be older than 48 hours.

• Interviews (08/31/2021):
  Conducting interviews in presence is possible again as of now. The 3G rules must be observed.
• Approval of the use of university buildings in accordance with § 2 II HochschulCoronaVO (31.08.2021):
  • University buildings may be used for off-site events as an exception to the University Corona Ordinance if the requirements of the July 27, 2021 resolution are met.
• Use sports hall as a lecture hall
  • Procurement of equipment screen, sound equipment, podiums delayed, if necessary for bridging extension rental of equipment for A&O

• A home self-test at least 2x a week is obligatory for participation in face-to-face events. An affidavit is to be carried along.
• Vaccinated persons and recovered persons are exempt from the test obligation. An officially valid proof (vaccination certificate or medical certificate) must be carried.
• These rules apply to all university members.
• Compliance with the testing requirement will be monitored through random testing.
• The university will provide tests free of charge until November 15, 2021. Thereafter, testing must be provided independently. The crisis team explicitly points out the free vaccination offers.
• The test strategy is based on ILIAS.

• The occupancy standard for lecture halls and seminar rooms is the checkerboard pattern (one seat available at a time). Masks must be worn.
• If the minimum distance of 1.5m is observed (lower occupancy), there is no obligation to wear a mask at the fixed seat.
• In the case of Corona traffic light dark red: Changeover to digital teaching or presence event with minimum distance of 1.5m and mask carrying obligation in compliance with the permissible maximum occupancy.
• Corona traffic light purple: Switch to digital teaching, no face-to-face teaching permitted.
• Fully vaccinated and recovered individuals are counted in numerical limitations.*

• If the minimum distance of 1.5 m is observed, masks do not have to be worn in fixed sitting or standing positions. Otherwise masks must be worn.
• For Corona traffic light dark red: Presence only if indispensable, otherwise exposure.
• With Corona traffic light violet: Suspension of the presence event.

• If the minimum distance of 1.5 m is observed, masks do not have to be worn if the user is seated or standing. Otherwise masks must be worn.
• For Corona traffic light dark red: conversion to digital teaching or face-to-face teaching with minimum distance of 1.5 m and mask wearing obligation in compliance with the permissible maximum occupancy.
• Corona traffic light purple: Switch to digital teaching or suspend the presence event.

• Due to reduced room usage due to the pandemic, the gymnasium and cafeteria will be made available for instructional events on a priority basis.
• The cafeteria for is available for courses during the times: 08:00 to 11:15 and 14:00 to 17:15.
• Sports activities in the gymnasium are unfortunately not possible during the winter semester due to prioritization and costly renovations.
• The use of the gym during lecture times is allowed.The use of the gym during exam times is not allowed.

• Minimum distance 1.5m, no mask wearing obligation for "fixed seat

• The following applies in principle: If the minimum distance of 1.5m is not maintained, masks must be worn.
• Masks must be worn in the buildings.
• Masks do not have to be worn in buildings if the minimum distance of 1.5m is maintained at fixed seating and standing positions.
• If masks must be worn, only a medical face mask or an FFP2 mask is permitted.

External events can again take place on campus. The external organizers must confirm with the usage agreement that they have a hygiene concept in accordance with the specifications of the Corona-LVO M-V and are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable legal requirements, in particular the Corona-LVO M-V. In the event of non-compliance, the university reserves the right to revoke the user agreement without notice.

• The obligation to wear a medical face mask (mouth-nose protection) or FFP2 mask still applies.
• The obligation to test before examinations in face-to-face format continues to apply. There is no testing obligation for fully vaccinated or recovered persons (appropriate proof must be carried).
• The crisis management team expressly recommends that all Examinees get tested in advance at an official test center (= test certificate no more than 24 hours old).
• Examinees without a test certificate will be given the opportunity to take a supervised self-test in the examination room 30 minutes before the start of the examination. Further details can be found in the hygiene plans (checklists for teachers and students).
• Self-tests conducted at home are not sufficient.

• The hygiene plans and checklists for teachers as well as students published in the Ilias contain the implementation regulations for the supervised self-tests before presence examinations and information about possible test centers in Stralsund.

• The regulations on compulsory home office and alternating operation are cancelled.
• As of Monday, July 5, compulsory presence will apply again.
• Situational home office is still possible in coordination with the supervisor, as long as there are no conflicting business concerns.
• The simultaneous use of offices or workrooms by employees must continue to be avoided. A risk assessment by AGU is to be carried out. This regulation does not apply to fully vaccinated, recovered or tested persons.

• Wearing a medical face mask (mouth-nose protection) or FFP2 mask in the buildings remains mandatory.
• The mask may only be removed for individual work at one's own workplace or for small work consultations (up to 5 persons).

• Self-testing kits will continue to be provided for employees in the „mail room“.

• Meetings and committee meetings are again allowed in presence, in compliance with hygiene regulations. The max. number of room occupancy must still be observed.
• As a rule, a medical face mask (mouth-nose protection) or FFP2 mask must be worn.
• In the case of small team meetings (up to 5 persons), the obligation to wear a mask may be waived.

• The hygiene plans published in the Ilias remain valid.

• For external visitors an appointment and a contact person is necessary.
• Personal meetings with faculty and administrative staff require a written or telephone appointment.

• Access is again permitted outside of business hours for those with access authorization for project work.

• For learning rooms/spaces, the usage time is extended from 06 am to 9 pm ( Mon - Fri ).

Urgent business trips are again possible in coordination with the supervisor/manager.
Participation in external events via videoconferencing is to be preferred.
Business trips to "virus variant areas", "high incidence areas" or "risk areas" are still prohibited.

Curricular based field trips are again possible. Excursions to "virus variant areas", "high incidence areas" or "risk areas" are still prohibited. Attention must be paid to the conclusion of travel cancellation options

Events can take place again. Only with an agreed hygiene concept, AGU will approve the event on a case-by-case basis. Preference should be given to outdoor events. The number of participants must be reported to AGU at the end of the event.

The university adjusts the operating status to the current pandemic situation and switches to "restricted normal operation". This reopens the campus to the public and eliminates the need to carry a pass. The HOSTCard is still required for Corona tracking using the be@HOST app.

Learning spaces are now allowed, the maximum room occupancy as per Corona signage has to be noted. Learning spaces will be equipped with Lucca App QR codes and students will be required to self-register. Faculty administrators retain the right to immediately lock learning spaces and prohibit use in the event of non-compliance.

All teaching courses will continue to be taught exclusively digitally until the end of the lecture period 6.7.2021 due to the desired planning security for students and teachers, despite falling incidence figures.

The following are exempt from this: events preparing for exams, seminars (reflective learning formats), and selected courses for the firstand second semesters.

However, these may only take place if they are held in hybrid form (i.e., digitally as a livestream and simultaneously in presence in one or more teaching rooms, in compliance with hygiene and distance rules).

Here, too, it is important to the crisis team to maintain the desired planning security for students and lecturers. 

A daily valid home self-test is required for attendance in teaching courses. A written self-declaration by the student must be submitted.

Precence classroom teaching courses, which necessarily require special laboratory and work rooms and are therefore not possible in hybrid form, are possible from 31.5.2021 until the end of the lecture period with the approval of the faculty head in those courses, in which no significant number of international full-time students are enrolled.

The decisions and urgent recommendations of the permanent crisis management team result from the aim to reduce the mobility for the students as much as possible, especially foreign students.

Against the background of the desired planning security for students and teachers, the permanent crisis management team makes the urgent recommendation - even if the incidence figures fall - to implement the upcoming examination phase in alternative and digital examination formats.

Before deciding on an examination format, a survey – asking the students - should be obtained.

The maximum number of examinees is derived from the Corona maximum occupancy rate determined for the respective examination room.

Particularly in the case of examinations with a significantly high proportion of foreign students, the permanent crisis management team is opposed to a face-to-face examination due to the entry problem.

In the case of examinations in face-to-face format, students and lecturers are required to take an accompanied self-test. The self-tests are provided by the university. 

Seminar and teaching rooms (for max. 10 students) are opened for exam preparation in the faculties during regular house opening hours. The faculties (dean) provide information, which learning rooms. Students must ensure self-monitoring for compliance with hygiene regulations and attendance control. Faculty administrators retain the right to immediately lock the learning spaces and prohibit their use in the event of non compliance.

Sports operation is permitted from June 1 (according to the ordinance of the state government to amend the Corona-LVO M-V* of May 27, 2021, § 2 para. 21):

• Individual sports: 10 persons (max. 5 households) inside.
• Club-based (university sport): max. 25 persons outside
• Club-based (university sport): max. 15 persons inside
• Existing test obligation only inside
• Hygiene requirements must be observed

Basically oriented to teaching activities (mostly online), so no events on campus at this time. Events with hygiene concept can be applied for, R and K (as crisis manager) reserves the right to check.

Currently no change due to the home office requirement regulations in the Infection Prevention Act until June 30.

Business trips and excursions are currently not allowed.
Unavoidable business trips require the explicit approval of the university rectory.

The permanent management crisis team is waiting for a new enactment.

The permanent management crisis team has decided that hybrid interviews (candidates and appointments committee in presence, students and other University members online). However, these are only permitted if all candidates can participate in presence. Hybrid form (online or presence) must be the same for each group of participants (candidates, appointments committee, university public). There is the requirement for guided self-tests.

Interviews are still to be held digitally.

The home office requirement will remain until June 30 due to regulations in the Infection Prevention Act.

Due to the restrictions that still remain, the University of Applied Sciences remains in "extended emergency operations".

The crisis management team has decided to return to regular building closing hours due to low attendance/use.

Regulations will be submitted soon by the Studierendenwerk (students union).

Presumably, only outdoor operation without mandatory testing will be possible.

The obligation to wear the mouth-nose protection applies outside the buildings only where the minimum distance of 1.5m cannot be maintained.

The library is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. It is not necessary to make an appointment.

1. As of 14 December 2020, studying and teaching for all students at HOST will only take place in digital form until further notice. Only essential courses that require specialist laboratories or rooms with specialist equipment can be held on site up until 18 December 2020.
2. Limited on-site operations shall not resume until 18 January 2021. From this date onwards, essential courses that require specialist laboratories or rooms with specialist equipment, as well as examinations can be held on site subject to strict observation of the hygiene plans.

1. The University Library’s reading rooms and other areas that can be used by students for study purposes may only be used for preparing for exams and working on dissertations and only as long as the 7-day incidence in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen is below 100.
2. The University Library remains open to all members of the university community for taking out media, subject to the observation of the hygiene plans.

• Regulations will be issued at a later date following a new decree from the State Government (expected 14-18/12/2020).
• Food will not be available from the Mensa (cafeteria) from 17/12/2020 until 03/01/2021.
