About the Stralsund Spring School FUSES 2022 -



The FUSES 2021 Spring School is a two-week international training course focusing on renewable
energy and hydrogen technology. In recent years, about 45 students from Estonia, Lithuania, Poland,
Russia, Norway, Finland, Brazil, Thailand and Germany took part.

The seminars cover all topics of renewable energy systems and hydrogen technology. This includes
practical courses on hydrogen technology and renewable energies as well as an excursion to the
Hanover Fair. The intensive programme is rounded up by intercultural evenings for students and

In addition to the participation in lectures excursion and labs, all international students will present
their lab results, give a presentation on the energy situation in their home countries and take a final
exam at the end of the two weeks, which they will receive credits for.

What does it cost?

    The participation is free of charge.

    Attendants need to finance the following costs themselves:

    • travel to Stralsund and back
    • daily boarding (Self-catering & shopping facilities are nearby, and there is a cafeteria and canteen on campus for breakfast and lunch.)
    • 250,- Euro for accommodation at our students guest house for the duration of stay from 24th April until 6th May 2022 (max. 35 students, double rooms as standard).

    An extended stay from an earlier date such as Saturday 23rd April or with additional night(s) until 7th/8th April May can be made possible conditionally.
