Warum teilnehmen?

Das Baltic Sea Forum ist seit 2012 ein fester Bestandteil des akademischen Kalenders und hat sich zu einer wichtigen Plattform für den Wissens- und Erfahrungsaustausch für und in der Ostseeregion entwickelt. Nachdem in den vergangenen Jahren einzelne Länder der Ostseeregion im Fokus standen, richtet sich dieses Jahr der Blick auf ein Thema, das die gesamte Region verbindet: Bildung für Nachhaltigkeit.

Das Forum, organisiert von BMS-Studierenden mit Unterstützung der Fakultät für Wirtschaft der Hochschule Stralsund, bietet die Gelegenheit, aktuelle Fragestellungen zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung zu diskutieren, innovative Bildungsansätze kennenzulernen und neue Netzwerke zu knüpfen. Teilnehmende erwartet ein inspirierender Raum für Dialog, in dem Wissen, Erfahrung und Engagement aufeinandertreffen.

Warum Ostseeregion und Nachhaltigkeit?

Die Ostsee verbindet Länder, Kulturen und Menschen - und steht zugleich vor großen ökologischen Herausforderungen. Nachhaltigkeit in dieser Region bedeutet, Verantwortung über Grenzen hinweg zu übernehmen und voneinander zu lernen.

Das Forum setzt genau hier an und zeigt, wie Bildung als Motor für nachhaltiges Denken und Handeln wirken kann.

Das Baltic Sea Forum richtet sich an Studierende, Professor*innen und Mitarbeitende der Hochschule Stralsund sowie an alle Interessierten, die sich für die Ostseeregion, Bildung und Nachhaltigkeit engagieren möchten.

Why participate?

Since 2012, the Baltic Sea Forum has been a regular feature of the academic calendar and has developed into an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience within and for the Baltic Sea region. While previous years focused on individual countries of the region, this year’s forum turns its attention to a theme that connects them all: Education for Sustainability.

Organized by BMS students with the support of the School of Business Studies at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, the forum offers the opportunity to discuss current issues of sustainable development, explore innovative educational approaches, and build new networks. Participants can look forward to an inspiring space for dialogue where knowledge, experience, and commitment come together.

Why the Baltic Sea region and sustainability?

The Baltic Sea connects countries, cultures, and people – and at the same time faces major ecological challenges. Promoting sustainability in this region means taking responsibility across borders and learning from one another. The forum addresses exactly this by showing how education can serve as a driving force for sustainable thinking and action.

Who is the Baltic Sea Forum for?

The Baltic Sea Forum is aimed at students, professors, and staff of Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, as well as anyone interested in contributing to education and sustainability in the Baltic Sea region.
