The General Student Advice Office is pleased to help with any queries you might have regarding applications and admissions.

Online applications start:

For winter semester: at the middle of April
For summer semester: at the beginning of November

Applications are usually only possible after you have received the certificate of your higher education entrance qualification (usually secondary school leaving certificate).

In degree programs without admission restrictions (no NC) there is no limited number of study places. As long as the personal admission requirements are met and all of the required documents have been submitted in full by online-portal, you are guaranteed a study place.

We have no admission-restricted degree programmes in the current academic year.
The general rule is:
For degree programmes with restricted admission (NC), you will receive a letter of admission or rejection for the winter semester by the beginning of August at the latest and for the summer semester by the beginning of February at the latest via the online portal. Please refer to the letter of admission for the deadline (cut-off deadline!) for submitting the documents for enrolment. It is not necessary to appear in person for enrolment.

After enrolment, you can download your first certificate of enrolment from the online portal.
