The International Event-Point: a place where cultures meet
Hello and welcome to the IEP!
Every semester, there are lots of Internationals studying at the Hochschule Stralsund. On the other hand, there are plenty of German students here who want to get in contact with other cultures. The IEP is a group for everyone – where both International and German students can meet up, plan and spend time together.
What We Do
Game nights, laser tag, bubble soccer, excursions, international BBQs, get-togethers – there are events for every taste.
Our aim is to offer something for every student of the HOST. No matter if you just want to have fun at one of our many events or if you'd like to join our team, everyone with an open mind is always welcome at the IEP!

Finance Department
Maybe you like organising and coordinating? Then you should definitely join the Finance Department. It deals with administrative issues such as applications for financial support or cooperation with the university. It’s the perfect chance to get an insight into the organisation and responsibilities of a group like the IEP.
Marketing Department
Its members advertise events and the IEP as a whole on social media. By designing posts, flyers and stickers or writing articles, you can fully embrace your creativity and pick up the basics of marketing along the way.
Events & Excursions Department
Maybe you've already been to a get-together or an excursion organised by us? From planning and moderating events to collecting feedback afterwards – this department a lot of work but also a lot of fun. Enjoy a relaxed evening at the beach or bigger excursions to places like Hamburg or Rügen while meeting people from all over the world.
