We celebrate diversity and are therefore delighted to welcome over 370 international students from 49 countries who are studying at Stralsund University of Applied Sciences. They make up 21 per cent of the student body – a testament to HOST’s international focus. Why did you decide to study abroad in Stralsund?
To gain new skills, experiences and perspectives from another part of the world.
What do you do outside your studies – hobbies, student groups,
jobs?
I spend most of my free time at the gym and enjoy travelling whenever the opportunity arises.
How does your daily life here differ from that in your home country?
Cooking and cleaning take up a much larger part of my daily routine here than they do at home.
What advice do you have for future international applicants?
Be open-minded and willing to learn – not just academically, but also through new experiences and personal development.
