Health technology and management

Bachelor-Studiengang

The program is also aimed in particular at prospective students who are interested in the engineering profession, but for whom a classic industrial engineering or mechanical engineering degree is not the right choice.

Health technology is a dynamic and emerging industry with an increasing demand for qualified employees. Health technology includes, for example, the most important current technologies of medical technology, auxiliary technology (rehabilitation technology) and orthopedic technology and offers ever new possibilities to detect diseases in time or to take preventive measures. This often requires an interdisciplinary approach that combines engineering, business and social knowledge and skills to arrive at innovative solutions. The course provides knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as additive manufacturing and special materials knowledge, as well as skills for business decision-making in the context of product creation or the marketing of innovations. Needless to say, you will also gain knowledge relevant to you from the fields of healthcare and medicine.

So the Health Technology and Management degree program takes a very interdisciplinary approach.
