The HOST-Card is also your:
- Student ID card
- library card
- Canteen card with payment function
- Authorisation to park on campus in the main car parks (barrier entrance)
- Access authorisation for the main building of your faculty
- Card for use of theprint, scan and copy service on campus
Please re-register for each semester within the announced deadlines. Afterwards, do not forget to update the validity of your HOST card at the validation stations in the canteen lobby or in the waiting area of House 1 - lower corridor. The HOST-Card is issued for the first time at the start of each semester.
Your matriculation and library number are stored on the chip of your card. No other personal data is stored on the chip. Your matriculation number is used for identification at the validation stations. Only your surname, first name, matriculation number, photograph and the barcode with the library number are visible on the card.
It is your responsibility to only pass on your data or your HOST card to authorised persons. You are obliged to report the loss of your HOST card to the Student Secretariat in order to prevent misuse. In this case, it is also recommended that you have your user account blocked in the library.
In the event of a name change, loss or damage, a replacement card must be issued. You are responsible for obtaining a replacement card, which will cost you 11.00 euros (in accordance with the fee regulations of Stralsund University of Applied Sciences dated 23 April 2010). Proof of payment of the fee is a prerequisite for the issue of a new HOST card and must be submitted to the Student Secretariat (copy of bank statement, printout from online banking, etc.).
