Short Description

International Industrial Engineering is a modification of the program Industrial Engineering, where the focus is laid on internationalisation. During the first semesters, students learn the basics of technology, business sciences and computer science. The language skills are developed from the fourth semester onwards (usually English) and important soft skills are trained. Starting in semesters five and six, more than half of the courses taught are organised in elective modules. Two further semesters are spent abroad in non-German speaking countries. The first of these two semesters, the seventh semester, is reserved for more study courses that students can choose at a partner university abroad. After this, the eighth semester is intended as an internship in the same country abroad. Studies are concluded with the bachelor's dissertation. By offering more courses in a foreign language and including aspects that compare international countries and cultures in the program, you are prepared for a managerial role on the international job market.
